Valentine’s Day is coming and that means candy. Or does it? Who doesn’t love reading the messages on the candy hearts? It’s so much fun to find the one that applies to your love life and share it with that someone special. The only down side is taste. You gotta be crazy to eat them if you’re over the age of ten. The chalky residue turns into a paste in your mouth that no lemon drop can wash out.
A simple answer to this problem is to turn it into a cookie. Then you also get the freedom to write anything you want. In this set of cookies, I frosted the top and then used food coloring pens to write the message. This allowed my children to have some fun too.
Can you guess which ones they did?
